What is a Capture the Flag (CTF) Competition?
A Capture the Flag (CTF) is an engaging and educational cybersecurity event where participants solve hacking-related challenges to capture “flags”—pieces of hidden information that earn your team points. The more flags your team finds, the higher your score. At the end of the competition, the top three teams will be rewarded with exciting prizes (to be announced soon).
What to Expect from BenchLabs CTF 2025
At Cybersec Netherlands 2025, the CTF will focus on two essential domains:

Web Application Security
Tackle challenges related to the OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and learn how to detect and mitigate real-world risks. -
Network Forensics
Hone your ability to inspect traffic, analyze logs, and uncover critical clues through real-world network data.
This competition is designed for beginner to mid-level participants, making it ideal for those new to cybersecurity as well as practitioners seeking to sharpen their skills.
